The base fabric, Synthetic Knit with Spandex - Support, is a knitted fabric composed of 95% polyester and 5% elastane, with a weight of 237 gr/m2 and a width of 152 cm. The solid printed color is a dynamic purple with a CMYK of 24 72 0 0. Cyan and magenta inks combine to create a vibrant and deep tone, while the absence of yellow and black allows purple to be the protagonist of the design. This printed color combines well with light tones such as pastel pink and light beige, as well as with darker colors such as navy blue and black.
It should be noted that this fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means that it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. The base fabric has several outstanding features, such as its soft and elastic texture, as well as its opaque visual appearance. These characteristics make it a comfortable fabric to wear and pleasant to the touch.
The applications and uses of the base fabric are numerous and varied, including lingerie garments such as panties, bodysuits and bras/bralettes, as well as tops, knitwear and fashion accessories. It can also be used for sports garments for women, men and children, as well as for scrunchies and hair ties. The base fabric is a good option for garments that require comfort and elasticity, such as lingerie and sportswear.
To keep the base fabric in good condition, certain care instructions must be followed. Do not bleach, and the maximum washing temperature is 30ºC. Dry cleaning with trichloroethylene is allowed, and ironing should be done at a cool temperature on the reverse side of the fabric. Do not tumble dry.
The printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This technology allows high-quality, sharp, and durable designs to be printed on polyester-based fabrics. The sublimation process involves applying heat and pressure to transfer the ink to the fabric, resulting in a vivid and long-lasting design.
