The base fabric, Synthetic Knit with Spandex - Support, is composed of 95% polyester and 5% elastane, giving it great elasticity, softness, and opacity. Furthermore, it has a weight of 237 gr/m2 and a width of 152 cm. The printed solid color is mustard yellow, with a cyan ink proportion of 20%, magenta of 44%, yellow of 84%, and black of 9%, which translates to a CMYK of 20 44 84 9. This color conveys warmth, energy, and vitality, and pairs very well with earth tones, grays, and dark greens.
It is important to note that the base fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it has good color fixation and durability. The base fabric exhibits general characteristics of a great feel, softness, and elasticity, making it suitable for a wide variety of applications. Additionally, the printed solid color has an opaque texture and high chromatic contrast, making it perfect for fashion garments, lingerie, and accessories.
Among the applications and uses of the base fabric, we can find lingerie, briefs, bodysuits, bras/bralettes, knitwear, accessories, sportswear, and others like scrunchies and hair ties. These applications can be expanded through the designers creativity and knowledge, always keeping in mind the elasticity and feel of the fabric.
Regarding care, it is important not to use bleaching products, wash the fabric at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, iron at low temperature on the reverse side of the fabric, and avoid tumble drying. Dry cleaning is also permitted, except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation, which means the ink is transferred to the fabric using heat and pressure. This printing method is ideal for polyester and offers high fidelity and quality in colors, as well as great resistance to washing and the passage of time.
