The base fabric is Synthetic Knit with Spandex - Support, with a composition of 95% polyester and 5% elastane. It has a weight of 237 gr/m2 and a width of 152 cm. The printed solid color is a deep red, with a CMYK of 21 100 100 15. This color is characterized by being a mordant red, meaning it contains a yellow-orange tone in its composition. It combines well with neutral colors, such as white and black, as well as with earthy tones and blues.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the ink penetrates the fibers of the fabric, creating a permanent bond with them. The fabric is not dyed, but rather printed on one side.
The texture of the fabric is soft to the touch and visually opaque, yet elastic thanks to the spandex. The combination of these characteristics makes the fabric perfect for manufacturing lingerie garments, such as briefs, bodysuits, and bras/bralettes, as well as for tops and knitwear for both women and men. It is also suitable for accessories such as scrunchies and hair ties, and for sportswear for all ages.
Fabric care includes not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30°C, ironing at a cool temperature on the reverse side of the fabric, and not tumble drying. Dry cleaning is permitted, except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring ink to the fabric through heat, turning it into gas, and then making it adhere to the materials fibers. This allows the printed color to be durable and resistant to washing, without losing the quality of the printed image.
