The base fabric, Synthetic Knit with Spandex - Support, is a knit fabric with a composition of 95% polyester and 5% elastane. It has a weight of 237 gr/m2 and a width of 152 cm. The plain color printed on this fabric is a May Green, with a CMYK of 74 21 92 5, which means it has a high percentage of cyan ink, a low percentage of magenta ink, a high percentage of yellow ink, and a low percentage of black ink. This color is very symbolic, as it represents nature and freshness, and is pleasing to the eye. It combines well with colors such as white, pink, brown, and grey.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side only by digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. The texture of the fabric is soft to the touch and visually opaque. In addition, it is elastic, which makes it ideal for close-fitting garments.
The base fabric has several applications, such as lingerie, womens and mens fashion, accessories, and sportswear. In particular, it is ideal for knitwear and tops. It can also be used to make scrunchies and hair ties. Its season is timeless, which means it can be used at any time of the year.
Regarding the care of the fabric, it is important to follow the manufacturers recommendations: do not bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, dry clean (except with trichloroethylene), iron at a cold temperature on the reverse side of the fabric, and do not tumble dry.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which means that special ink and heat are used to transfer the design to the fabric. This allows the design to look sharp and detailed, and for the color to be durable and fade-resistant. In addition, this technology allows complex and full-color designs to be printed on the fabric.
