The base fabric, Synthetic Knit with Spandex - Support, is a soft and stretchy knit fabric, with a weight of 237 gr/m2, making it ideal for lingerie and fashion garments. Its composition of 95% polyester and 5% elastane, along with its width of 152 cm, guarantee its flexibility and resistance. The digital textile printing of the plain color in a vibrant blue is done on one side only, without any tinting in the fabric. The CMYK of the color shows a high amount of cyan and magenta, with a touch of null black and no presence of yellow at all.
The printed vibrant blue is a secondary color that denotes vitality and energy. It combines perfectly with lighter shades of blue or sky blue, as well as with white, black, and grays. The main characteristics of the base fabric are its softness, elasticity, and visual opacity. These properties make it ideal for creating lingerie, sportswear, and accessories. It is also suitable for making tops and knitwear, due to its ability to adapt to the body without losing shape.
Care instructions for Synthetic Knit with Spandex - Support fabric include machine washing at a maximum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius, without bleach or tumble drying. Dry cleaning is recommended except with trichloroethylene, and ironing at a medium temperature with the fabric inside out. As it is an elastic fabric, it is important not to leave it soaking for too long and always air dry.
The printing technology for this fabric is sublimation, which is used for printing on polyester-based surfaces. This process involves printing the image on transfer paper, which is then sublimated onto the fabric using heat and pressure. The result is a high-quality image, resistant to washing, and with no perceptible texture that protrudes from the fabrics surface.
