The Synthetic Knit Fabric with Spandex - Support is a knit fabric composed of 95% polyester and 5% elastane, with a weight of 237 gr/m2 and a width of 152 cm. The solid printed color is a pale blue tone achieved by combining cyan (37) and yellow (2) inks, without the use of magenta or black ink. This color is characterized by its softness and opacity, and it pairs especially well with pale and neutral shades.
Its worth noting that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which makes it a printed fabric rather than a dyed one. The general characteristics of the base fabric are its soft texture, elastic feel, and visual opacity. Furthermore, it is a stretchy fabric that easily adapts to all types of garments and accessories. Applications and uses for this fabric include lingerie, such as bras, bralettes, panties, and bodysuits, as well as knitwear, tops, scrunchies, and headbands. Additionally, due to its composition and characteristics, it is also suitable for sportswear.
To maintain the quality of this fabric, it is important to follow the manufacturers recommended care instructions, which include not bleaching the fabric, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, and ironing at a cool temperature on the reverse side of the fabric. Dry cleaning is recommended, excluding the use of trichloroethylene, and tumble drying should be avoided.
The Synthetic Knit Fabric with Spandex - Support is manufactured using sublimation technology (polyester), a digital printing process that allows for high-temperature and high-pressure ink transfer to achieve a homogeneous distribution of colors on the fabric. This process is carried out without the use of water or chemicals, making it a more environmentally friendly technique and a sustainable alternative to traditional printing.
