Raso Amsterdam is a satin/satin fabric weighing 120 gr/m2 and made of 100% polyester with a width of 150cm. Its plain printed color is reddish-brown with a CMYK of 33 69 42 29. This sensual color is rich and warm, evoking passion and strength. The secondary color is dark brown, symbolizing security, stability, and solidarity. Reddish-brown perfectly combines with neutral colors such as gray, beige, and black, as well as with more vibrant colors like dark orange and navy blue. The fabric is printed with this plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side.
The Raso Amsterdam fabric is shiny and smooth to the touch, making it a perfect choice for elegant garments and refined accessories. The fabric features a shiny visual texture, thin and soft to the touch. It is a suitable fabric for all year round; however, it can be considered more for autumn/winter 2021. Its uses and applications include shirts, blouses, kimonos, jumpsuits, skirts, trousers, tops, dresses, pajamas, among other lingerie items, accessories, and scarves. Additionally, its shiny and smooth texture to the touch makes it suitable for making bridal wear and other elegant garments.
To maintain the quality of the fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it, wash it at less than 40ºC, not to use trichloroethylene in dry cleaning, iron it at a warm temperature, and tumble dry it at a reduced temperature. Digital textile printing is the printing technique used to make this fabric. This technology uses a specialized inkjet printer that prints water-based ink through small holes onto the fabric. The ink is placed in the printer and printed onto the fabric through a series of injection nozzles. This process allows for a high level of detail and precision in the fabric printing.
