The base fabric of this textile is Raso Ámsterdam, a 100% polyester satin with a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The fabric is plain white, printed with an aquatic green ink composed of 82% Cyan, 16% Magenta, 62% Yellow, and 2% Black ink, resulting in a light and fresh green tone with an aquatic touch.
This aquatic green tone is a symbolic color of tranquility, balance, and freshness. It is ideal for womens and mens fashion designs, especially in light summer garments. Furthermore, it pairs very well with white, cream, nude, light blue, and soft gray tones, making it perfect for color palettes inspired by the beach, sea, and nature.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only using digital textile printing, which means the ink adheres only to one side of the fabric, providing excellent definition and quality.
Regarding its characteristics, the fabric exhibits a visual sheen and a smooth, delicate feel. It is very soft and silky to the touch, as well as being a lightweight fabric with good drape. On the other hand, the printed color is characterized by being resistant to fading and sunlight, with excellent printing performance and high definition in detail reproduction.
In terms of its applications and uses, the fabric is widely used in womens and mens fashion for making shirts, blouses, kimonos, jumpsuits, skirts, trousers, tops, bridal wear, and accessories such as scarves. It is also very commonly used in lingerie, such as pajamas and dresses. In addition, due to its shine, quality, and thinness, it is also widely used in event and ceremony decoration.
It is important to note that, to maintain the quality and shine of the fabric, the following care instructions should be followed: do not bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, iron at warm temperature, dry cleaning is allowed except for trichloroethylene, and it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used is sublimation on polyester, a technique that involves permanently transferring ink to the fabric using heat and pressure. This process allows the ink to fuse with the fabric fibers, achieving high quality in detail definition and excellent fade resistance.
