The Amsterdam Satin/Rayon base fabric, made of 100% polyester, has a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is a beautiful dark Byzantine purple, defined by a CMYK of 62 78 38 36. It is an intense and sophisticated color that symbolizes creativity, elegance, and richness. This color pairs very well with shades of gray, browns, and earth tones, as well as with shades of green and pink.
It is important to mention that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing. This means that the fabric is not impregnated with color, but rather the color is printed in a single layer on the surface of the base fabric. This allows for greater precision in the reproduction of the printed design and a faster production speed.
The base fabric has a brilliant visual texture and a smooth, thin feel. The combination of these characteristics gives it an elegant and sophisticated appearance, as well as great durability and resistance to tearing and wear. The printed color, for its part, has good adherence to the fabric and does not lose intensity over time.
Among the applications and uses of the base fabric are mens and womens fashion, including shirts, blouses, skirts, pants, tops, jumpsuits, and kimonos. It is also used in the creation of accessories such as scarves, as well as in lingerie, including pajamas, dresses, and bridal wear. This fabric is suitable for all seasons of the year, and its elegant appearance allows it to be used in formal events as well as in everyday life.
Regarding the care of the fabric, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees, do not bleach, do not use trichloroethylene in dry cleaning, iron at a warm temperature, and do not use a high-temperature dryer. With these cares, the fabric will maintain its beautiful appearance and last a long time.
The printing technology used in the production of this fabric is sublimation. This process involves the ink pigments turning into gas and fusing with the polyester fibers of the fabric, creating a faithful reproduction of the printed design. This ensures high-quality printing and great color durability.
