Satin - Amsterdam

The base fabric is a polyester satin/rayon with a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. It presents an attractive visual sheen and a soft, smooth touch. The solid color is printed using the sublimation process on one side of the fabric, using cyan, magenta, yellow, and black inks. The result is a vibrant Russian purple-violet tone with a CMYK of 94, 100, 34, and 36, which combines especially well with light shades such as pastel pink and aqua green.

Among the characteristics of the base fabric are its visual sheen and its soft, smooth touch, as well as its thinness and transparency. Due to its composition and finish, it is highly recommended for making fashion garments such as shirts, blouses, skirts, tops, and pants, as well as accessories and all types of lingerie. Furthermore, its timelessness makes it suitable for any season.

Regarding application, it is recommended to wash the fabric at no more than 40ºC, avoiding bleaching and preferably using dry cleaning without trichloroethylene. It can be ironed at a warm temperature and tumble dried at a reduced temperature. It is important not to twist the fabric or subject it to high temperatures.

The printing technology used for the production of this fabric is sublimation, which allows the ink to be transferred from a transfer paper to the surface of the polyester using heat and pressure. This process offers a durable and high-quality result, with vibrant colors and great fidelity to the original design.
