Satin - Amsterdam

The base fabric of this piece is Raso Ámsterdam, a satin/raso with a composition of 100% polyester, a weight of 120 gr/m2, and a width of 150 cm. Its solid printed color is a pear yellow with the CMYK color code of 11 1 50 0, which means it has a low percentage of cyan and magenta, and a high percentage of yellow. The color is vibrant and is destined to stand out in any garment. Additionally, as it is printed, it only appears on one side of the fabric.

Regarding the characteristics of this fabric, it stands out for its shiny texture and its smooth and delicate feel, ideal for high-quality garments such as kimonos, skirts, and womens blouses. This pear yellow color combines perfectly with other shades of yellow, as well as with grays and greens, which gives it great versatility in terms of garment combination.

In terms of applications and uses, this fabric is ideal for feminine and masculine fashion in garments such as shirts, pants, jumpsuits, tops, and accessories such as scarves, due to its delicate finish and soft feel. For lingerie, it is perfect for pajamas, dresses, and bridal intimate apparel.

Care should be careful and take into account not to bleach, maximum temperature of 40ºC, allowing dry cleaning except trichloroethylene, ironing at warm temperature, and it can be tumble dried at reduced temperature.

The printing technology used for the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of printing the design on a sheet of paper, and then transferring it onto the fabric through heat and pressure. This allows for great precision in printing, as well as long-lasting printed color.
