El Raso - Ámsterdam is a satin fabric with a composition of 100% polyester, with a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its plain printed color is a shade of red, Raspberry Ice Cream, with a combination of Cyan inks at 38%, Magenta at 63%, Yellow at 37%, and Black at 23%, represented in the CMYK color model. This secondary color reflects a vibrant and bright hue, with a smooth texture and soft feel. It pairs especially well with gold, beige, and black tones.
This fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which means its finish is produced in a single printing process, ensuring high design precision and an excellent range of colors in its hue.
The general characteristics of the base fabric include a shiny visual texture, a smooth, thin feel. Regarding the plain color, it is characterized by an intense hue, vibrant brightness, and sharp details in the print. The wide range of tones and the precision of digital printing make it especially suitable for fashion in garments such as blouses, skirts, pants, jumpsuits, etc. It is also ideal for making accessories like scarves and kimonos, as well as for bridal lingerie and pajamas.
Regarding fabric care, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC to avoid deterioration. This fabric allows dry cleaning, except for trichloroethylene, which expands the variety of options for its maintenance. For the care of its print details, it is advised to iron at a warm temperature and tumble dry at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester). In this process, a printed paper transfer and a heat press are used to transfer the design to the polyester base fabric. The heat of the press transforms the printed ink into gas, which expands and adheres to the fabric fibers, impregnating them with the final design. The result is a high print quality, with high precision and a wide range of colors in the final image.
