The base fabric, Satin/Raso Amsterdam, is made of 100% polyester with a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is a Black Grape Purple with a CMYK of 64, 61, 0, 0, indicating a dark and deep shade, with a violet hue and a slight touch of black, making it very versatile and elegant. This color combines well with tones such as white, gold, and silver, making it ideal for evening wear and accessories.
This fabric is digitally printed with the solid color on one side only, meaning the ink has been applied to only one face of the fabric. In terms of characteristics, the fabric presents a visually bright texture and a smooth, thin feel. This makes it ideal for garments such as blouses, skirts, dresses, and trousers, as well as accessories like scarves. It is also popular for making kimonos and pajamas thanks to its softness and drape.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach and to wash at a maximum temperature of 40 °C. It allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene, and ironing at a warm temperature. It can also be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation for polyester, where the image is transferred directly to the fabric through a process of ink vaporization and its fusion into the polyester fiber itself. This process allows for high-quality prints that are resistant to washing and prolonged use, ensuring greater durability of the fabric.
