Amsterdam satin is a 100% polyester satin/satin fabric, with a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is iguana green, with cyan ink at 48, magenta at 3, yellow at 100, and black at 0, resulting in a CMYK of 48 3 100 0. This color symbolizes trust, life, and nature, and technically, its hue is a bright and vibrant green to the touch.
This color combines very well with earthy tones, beige, gold, and white, meaning it can be used in many applications and uses. It is important to note that Amsterdam satin is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side.
The general characteristics of the base fabric include a shiny visual texture, smooth, and thin feel. As for the solid color, it offers a vibrant, bright, and soft tone to the touch. The applications and uses of this fabric include fashion for both women and men, in garments such as shirts, blouses, jumpsuits, skirts, trousers, tops, and scarves. It is also ideal for kimonos, pajamas, lingerie dresses, and for brides.
Fabric care should be taken into account to maintain its quality and durability. It is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C, iron at a warm temperature, can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature, and allows dry cleaning except trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used for the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows for exceptional image quality and definition, as well as a wide variety of unique designs. This technique consists of printing the image on transfer paper, and then transferring the ink to the fabric with heat and pressure, ensuring that the image integrates perfectly into the fabric fibers and does not wear out or lose quality over time.
