The base fabric of this textile is Raso - Ámsterdam, a 100% POLYESTER satin with a grammage of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is a withered green composed of 65% Cyan ink, 31% Magenta ink, 72% Yellow ink, and 14% Black ink, represented in the CMYK color space as 65 31 72 14. Symbolically, this color is similar to a pale, wild green, with a touch of gray and brown. Technically, it is an opaque color, with reduced shine and a smooth, soft texture. It combines well with neutral tones such as black, gray, and white, pastel tones such as pink and light yellow, and brown and ocher tones.
The solid color is printed on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on the surface of the base fabric. Printing technology allows for a wide variety of designs and colors, as well as the possibility of printing on different types of fabrics and print sizes.
The general characteristics of the base fabric include its glossy visual texture, its smooth and thin feel, and its wide range of applications and uses in fashion, accessories, and lingerie. Some of the most common uses for this fabric include shirts, blouses, skirts, pants, tops, pajamas, dresses, kimonos, and accessories such as scarves.
It is important to consider the recommended care for this type of fabric, which includes not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, avoiding dry cleaning with trichloroethylene, ironing at a warm temperature, and tumble drying at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which involves applying ink to the base fabric through a heating and pressure process. This allows for the reproduction of precise and durable designs and colors that do not fade or wear easily. Overall, the combination of the base fabric and its solid printed color results in a multifaceted and versatile fabric that can be used for different purposes and applications in the world of fashion and design.
