The base fabric Satin - Amsterdam is a polyester satin/laso with a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150cm. The plain color printed on it is a mix of blue and emerald, with a CMYK of 81 13 65 1. This secondary color symbolizes serenity and renewal, but technically we can highlight its bright visual texture, its smooth touch and its thinness. It particularly combines with grayish and earthy tones, creating harmonious contrasts.
The Satin - Amsterdam fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing. It is important to mention that this fabric is not dyed but printed, which offers greater precision in color and design.
The general characteristics of this base fabric include its soft texture and sheen, as well as its resistance to wear and shrinkage. The plain printed color also stands out for its solidity and durability, guaranteeing a lasting and attractive finish in any project.
Regarding applications and uses, this fabric is especially suitable for making fashion garments for both men and women, such as shirts, blouses, pants, skirts, jumpsuits, kimonos, tops and accessories such as scarves. It is also ideal for wedding dresses and lingerie, such as pajamas and dresses. Its season is timeless, although it is also perfect for the autumn/winter 2021 season.
It is important to note that this fabric requires certain care to maintain its quality and finish. It is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C and avoid bleaching, as well as dry cleaning with trichloroethylene. Ironing at warm temperature and tumble drying at reduced temperature are the best option.
Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is polyester sublimation. This process consists of transferring ink from paper to fabric using heat and pressure, guaranteeing perfect image quality and vibrant, long-lasting colors.
