The base fabric of this textile is Sarga - Prada, a twill-type fabric composed of 96% polyester and 4% elastane, with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its plain printed color is a vibrant olive yellow with a CMYK of 34, 11, 70, 0. This secondary color symbolizes nature, light, and renewal, and pairs particularly well with neutral and earthy tones such as beige, brown, and grey. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but rather printed on one side.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are that it is soft to the touch, yet thin in texture. As for the plain printed color, it is fade-resistant and retains its intensity over time. In terms of applications and uses, this fabric is ideal for making fashion garments for both women and men, such as shirts, skirts, blouses, dresses, and scarves. Thanks to its polyester and elastane composition, it fits well and is comfortable to wear in form-fitting garments. Additionally, being a summer fabric, it is perfect for fresh and elegant clothing.
Care instructions for this type of fabric include not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius, not using trichloroethylene in dry cleaning, ironing at a cool temperature, and avoiding tumble drying. It is important to follow these instructions to maintain the quality and color of the fabric over time.
Finally, regarding the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric, it is sublimation (polyester), a technique that uses heat and pressure to print designs and colors on polyester fabrics. By heating the ink to high temperatures, it turns into gas, allowing the color to permanently adhere to the fabric fibers. Sublimation printing is one of the most advanced and effective techniques for printing high-quality designs on fabrics, as is the case with this Sarga - Prada fabric printed in plain olive yellow.
