The Gabardine - Prada base fabric is a soft and thin woven gabardine composed of 96% polyester and 4% elastane, with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is Nile green with a CMYK of 36-0-70-0. This secondary color conveys freshness, peace, and tranquility. Combined with other warm colors, such as orange or yellow, it generates a harmonious contrast that enhances the feeling of freshness. Likewise, combined with cool colors, such as blue, we would achieve a relaxing and tranquil effect. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only using digital textile printing.
The fabrics soft and thin texture offers excellent comfort when in contact with the skin. The base fabric and printed color do not wear out easily, ensuring long durability. The polyester and elastane gabardine is very versatile and is used in fashion garments and accessories. In particular, this fabric is suitable for making summer shirts, skirts, blouses, dresses, and scarves.
To extend the lifespan of the Gabardine-Prada, it is advisable to follow a series of care instructions. The fabric should not be bleached, requires washing at a maximum temperature of 30 ºC, and can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature, and it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used in the manufacturing of the Gabardine-Prada is polyester sublimation. This process consists of transferring ink through the vapor generated in contact with the fabric. The ink solidifies and creates a durable and resistant print. Digital textile printing is a method that allows for higher quality in printing, both in design and color.
