The base fabric of this textile is the Bi-elastic Twill - Lisbon in solid color Sequoia Brown, with a CMYK of 33 68 68 40. This color is characterized by being an earthy tone that brings warmth and elegance to any garment or accessory. Symbolically, brown represents stability, security, and nature. In technical terms, the base fabric is a twill composed of 97% polyester and 3% elastane, with a weight of 209 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its texture is rough, elastic, and soft to the touch. In addition, this secondary color combines perfectly with olive green, beige, and blue tones.
This fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the ink penetrates the fiber of the fabric, creating a sharp and durable image. Regarding general characteristics, the base fabric is highly resistant and elastic, ideal for fitted and comfortable garments. In addition, the printed solid color presents excellent fixation, shine, and durability.
Among the attributes of the base fabric, its varied applications and uses stand out. These include pants, skirts, jeans, shorts, dresses, and accessories in the fashion field, as well as cloths, cushions, napkins, and frames in the home textile field. It can also be used in outdoor decoration, such as cushions for gardens or terraces.
It is important to consider the care instructions to maintain the quality of this fabric. Bleaching is not recommended, the maximum washing temperature should be 30ºC, dry cleaning is allowed except with trichloroethylene, and ironing should be at a cool temperature. In addition, a tumble dryer should not be used.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which allows the ink to convert into gas and penetrate the fabrics fibers, creating a high-resolution image with bright and durable colors. This process is carried out through software that prints the image on transfer paper, which is placed on the fabric and subjected to high temperatures and pressure for the ink to transfer to the fabric.
