The base fabric for this reference is the Bielastic Twill - Lisbon, composed of 97% polyester and 3% elastane, with a weight of 209 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its plain printed color is French Green, which is obtained from a mix of cyan (33) and yellow (36) inks, to achieve an intense and vibrant green tone. This color combines especially well with earth tones and beige, as they give it a warmer and more natural look.
The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the color adheres only to the printed part of the fabric. It is important to note that it is not a dyed fabric, but printed, which allows for great versatility in designs and a more faithful reproduction of colors.
The characteristics of the base fabric include a rough and elastic texture, with a soft touch. These qualities make the fabric very comfortable and adaptable to the body, ideal for garments such as pants, skirts, shorts or dresses. In addition, its resistance and durability make it suitable for other uses such as making cushions, napkins, frames or pictures.
Regarding the care of the fabric, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, avoid the use of a tumble dryer, iron at a cool temperature and dry clean, except with trichloroethylene. If these indications are followed, the fabric will maintain its quality and appearance for a long time.
Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows for high fidelity in the reproduction of designs and a superior image quality to screen printing or offset printing. This technique consists of printing an image using special inks on transfer paper, which is then adhered to the fabric using heat and pressure. The result is an impeccable and durable image, with vivid colors and sharp contrasts.
