Organic Cotton Twill - Florence is a type of twill fabric composed of 100% organic cotton, with a weight of 195 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. The plain printed color is a muddy brown tone, which is the result of a combination of cyan (45), magenta (39), yellow (49), and black (25) ink, with a CMYK of 45 39 49 25. This muddy color resembles earth or mud, conveying a sense of stability and firmness. Additionally, it pairs very well with shades of beige, earth, olive green, and other earthy tones.
It is important to mention that the base fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only, using digital textile printing technology. Therefore, the other side of the fabric retains its natural tone. Regarding the characteristics of the base fabric, its softness to the touch and rigidity in texture can be highlighted. These characteristics make the fabric suitable for various uses and applications, such as decoration in frames and paintings, fashion for women and men in trousers, overshirts, shorts and Bermuda shorts, as well as accessories such as toiletry bags and coin purses.
Regarding the care of the fabric, it is important to follow the manufacturers instructions to increase its durability and prevent possible damage. In this case, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric, use a maximum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius, dry cleaning is allowed with the exception of trichloroethylene. In addition, ironing should be done at a cool temperature and the use of tumble dryers should be avoided.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this type of fabric is Reactive Direct, which allows printing on natural fibers such as organic cotton. This digital textile printing technique is characterized by using reactive inks that chemically adhere to the fabric fibers, so that resistance to washing and rubbing is very high. In conclusion, Organic Cotton Twill - Florence is a resistant, soft-touch and very versatile fabric, which allows a wide variety of uses and applications thanks to its characteristics and attributes.
