The base fabric is an organic cotton twill called Florence, with a weight of 195 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. It is printed with a plain color in brown and peru tones, whose CMYK is 17 51 81 6, which gives it an elegant and sophisticated appearance. This secondary color symbolizes earth, warmth, and stability, and combines especially well with other earth tones, greens, and grays. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which allows for high precision and definition in the printing.
Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric, its 100% organic cotton composition gives it a soft yet rigid texture, making it very pleasant to the touch. It is a sustainable fabric certified by GOTS (ORGANIC CU1016503) and has high resistance and durability, making it an ideal choice for fashion, decoration, and home textiles. The applications and uses of the fabric are very varied, ranging from making garments such as pants, overshirts, jeans, and shorts, to making fashion accessories such as toiletry bags and coin purses. It is also perfect for decoration, such as in the making of cushions, table runners, placemats, and tablecloths, for the bedroom, living room, and dining room.
Regarding the care instructions, it is important to follow the manufacturers recommendations. The fabric should not be bleached and should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene, and it needs to be ironed at a cool temperature. It cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is reactive digital direct (natural fibers), which allows for high-quality, resistant, and durable printing, while preserving the softness and rigidity characteristic of organic cotton twill. In short, Florence is a high-quality and sustainable fabric, ideal for those looking for a resistant and versatile textile.
