The base fabric of this textile is Organic Cotton Twill - Florence, with a composition of 100% organic cotton and a weight of 195 gr/m2. Its width is 160 cm and it is GOTS certified - ORGANIC CU1016503. The plain color printed on the fabric is Brown and Blood Red, with a CMYK content of 34 100 90 54. The secondary color is an intense and dark red, symbolizing passion and strength. Technically, it is a saturated and pigment-rich color, obtained from mixing magenta, yellow, and black inks in different proportions. It combines especially well with neutral colors such as white, beige, and black, as well as with other warm tones such as orange, yellow, and gold.
It should be noted that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which ensures high image quality and great precision in detail registration. This printing technique is not a dye; instead, the color is applied to the fabric surface using a specialized printer.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, we can say that it has a soft texture to the touch, but at the same time it is rigid and resistant, due to the twill weave. As for the color, it is worth noting that it is lightfast and wash-resistant, thanks to the printing technology used.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, we can mention decoration in frames, paintings, and cushions, as well as fashion in trousers, overshirts, jeans, shorts, and bermudas. It is also used for making accessories such as purses and toiletry bags. This fabric is also suitable for making home textiles, such as tablecloths, napkins, cushions, and table runners.
It is important to consider some specific care instructions for the base fabric of this textile, such as not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, not tumble drying, and ironing at a cool temperature. Additionally, dry cleaning is permitted, except with trichloroethylene.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is DIGITAL DIRECT REACTIVE (NATURAL FIBERS), which allows for high-quality and precise printing on natural fibers such as organic cotton. In summary, this fabric is a sustainable and high-quality option for making garments and home textiles.
