The base fabric of this textile is an Organic Cotton Twill-Florence, natural in color and 100% organic cotton in composition, with a weight of 195 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. The plain printed color is a Cyber Grape Purple, obtained from the use of cyan 77, magenta 81, yellow 21, and black 6 inks (CMYK: 77 81 21 6). This color symbolizes creativity and imagination, and technically its ink combination is quite complex. This color pairs very well with other purples and lilacs, as well as with grays, whites, beiges, and golds. It is important to note that, although the base fabric is a single natural color, it is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing.
The texture of the base fabric is characterized by being soft to the touch but rigid, which makes it ideal for garment manufacturing that requires a certain structure. As for the plain printed color, its pigmentation and quality are excellent, which gives it great durability and resistance to wear. In addition, the printing technology used ensures high definition and sharpness of the designs, allowing for uniform and precise colors.
Among the most common applications and uses for this type of fabric are decorating frames and pictures, making womens and mens fashion garments such as pants, overshirts, jeans, and shorts/bermudas, as well as creating accessories like toiletry bags and coin purses. It is also used in creating home textiles, such as cushions, table runners, tablecloths, napkins, and other decorative elements for both indoor and outdoor use.
Regarding care, it is advisable to follow the instructions detailed on the label, avoiding bleaching and using a maximum washing temperature of 30ºC. This fabric allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene, and can be ironed at a cool temperature. It should be noted that it cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used is Reactive Direct, which is employed for natural fibers. This is a process in which printing is done directly onto the base fabric, through the application of a special ink that chemically reacts with the fabrics fibers. This achieves a perfect and long-lasting color fixation, which guarantees an impeccable finish in the printed design.
