The base fabric of the Tromso water-repellent and antibacterial fabric is a technical fabric composed entirely of polyester, weighing 160 gr/m2 and with a width of 150 cm. As for its plain printed color, it comes in a pink tone known as Charm, and its CMYK is 7 55 13 0.
The secondary color Charm is a soft and sweet color that conveys elegance and sophistication. It is ideal for almost any type of garment or decorative project, as it combines especially well with neutral tones such as white or gray, or even with earthy and green tones.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the surface of the printed fabric is soft to the touch and does not have the stiffness that would result from a dyeing process.
The base fabric has a water-repellent and waterproof finish, as well as antibacterial properties that make it especially suitable for applications in fashion, accessories, decoration, outdoor sun loungers, among others. It is an ideal fabric for different seasons of the year and its texture is rough to the touch.
Among the applications and uses of the base fabric that we have mentioned, we can highlight its use in making dining table cloths, cushions for the living room, bedroom or kitchen, as well as backpacks, wallets, purses and toiletry bags. It is a fabric that adapts well to different needs and can be used in both fashion and decoration projects.
Regarding the care that this type of fabric should receive, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 60ºC. Likewise, it admits dry cleaning except trichloroethylene and can be ironed at a warm temperature, but it should not be tumble dried.
Finally, the fabric is manufactured using polyester sublimation technology, which consists of printing the required design directly onto the base fabric using high-quality printers that transfer the ink onto the fabric using high temperatures and high pressure. It is an efficient process that allows high-quality printing results.
