The base fabric is the Water-repellent Antibacterial Fabric - Tromso, with a weight of 160 gr/m2, composed of 100% polyester and with a width of 150 cm. The plain color printed on this fabric is characterized by being ear pink, with a combination of magenta ink of 32 and yellow ink of 4 in CMYK. This color is symbolically associated with delicacy, elegance, and sweetness, while technically, it is a color that provides a certain sense of calm and serenity, in addition to having a certain natural luminosity. This color combines perfectly with other pastel tones, such as blue and green, as well as with neutral tones such as white and light gray. It is worth mentioning that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side.
This fabric has several special features, such as its waterproof and water-repellent finish and its antibacterial finish, both ideal for fashion garments and accessories, especially backpacks and wallets, as it provides extra protection against weather and bacteria. It also has a rough texture, which gives it greater resistance and durability. As for its uses, the Water-repellent Antibacterial Fabric - Tromso adapts to a wide range of applications, from interior decoration to the manufacture of fashion garments and accessories, such as pants, toiletry bags, tablecloths, cushions, and sun loungers.
Regarding the care that should be taken into account for this fabric, it is important to avoid bleaching and use a maximum temperature of 60°C when washing it. Dry cleaning is allowed, except with trichloroethylene, and it is recommended to iron at a warm temperature. Tumble drying should not be used in any case.
The printing technology with which this fabric is manufactured is sublimation, which is used for printing on polyester fabrics and is considered one of the most advanced and durable techniques in digital textile printing. Sublimation allows the application of ink through heat and pressure, which converts the ink into gas and fuses it with the fabric, ensuring sharp and durable image quality.
