The base fabric of the Tromso antibacterial water-repellent fabric is a technical fabric composed of 100% polyester with a weight of 160 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its solid printed color is Tenne Brown, with a cyan ink of 15, magenta of 74, yellow of 100, and black of 4, which translates to a CMYK of 15 74 100 4. This color is characterized by being a dark brown tone with a reddish touch, which conveys elegance and sophistication. It combines especially well with beige, white, and black tones.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but rather the desired color is printed on the previously white base fabric. The base fabric has very important characteristics, such as its water-repellent finish, which provides waterproofing and protection against moisture, as well as its antibacterial property, which prevents the proliferation of bacteria. Its texture is rough and it has an additional antibacterial finish.
As for the applications and uses of the fabric, we find multiple options, among which fashion, decoration, and accessories stand out. It is ideal for making pants, coin purses, toiletry bags, backpacks, wallets, and even for making tablecloths, cushions, and sun loungers that can be used in outdoor spaces.
It is important to follow certain care instructions for this fabric, which consist of not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 60ºC, dry cleaning is allowed except with trichloroethylene, ironing should be at a warm temperature, and tumble drying is not recommended.
The printing technology used for the manufacture of this fabric is polyester sublimation, which consists of transferring the dye from a printed sheet to the base fabric using heat and pressure. In this way, the printed color does not fade, does not crack, and remains intact for much longer than other printing methods.
