The base fabric of this textile is the Hydrophobic Antibacterial Fabric - Tromso, a technical fabric made of 100% polyester with a weight of 160 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its solid printed color is a linen gray with a cyan ink content of 19, magenta of 15, yellow of 31, and black of 1, with a CMYK of 19 15 31 1.
The linen gray color is a neutral and elegant tone, symbolizing stability and serenity. Combined with other colors such as black and white, it creates a sophisticated and modern effect. On the other hand, combined with ocher and gold tones, it creates a warm and cozy atmosphere. This color, printed on one side using digital textile printing, gives the base fabric a subtle and elegant aesthetic.
Regarding its general characteristics, the Hydrophobic Antibacterial Fabric - Tromso features a hydrophobic finish that makes it waterproof, and an antibacterial finish that protects it from bacterial proliferation. As for its texture, it is rough to the touch. Moreover, the solid printed color is high-quality, resistant, and durable.
Regarding the uses and applications of the base fabric, its use in fashion and accessories, interior and exterior decoration, and home textiles stands out. In fashion, it is used in the manufacturing of pants, backpacks, and wallets, while in decoration it is used for making tablecloths, cushions, and embroidery hoops, among others.
For its care, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 60°C, dry clean except with trichloroethylene, iron at a warm temperature, and avoid using a tumble dryer.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, a process by which printing is done on a polyester base using special inks and heat to transfer the ink to the fabric. This process guarantees exceptional print quality and high resistance.
