The base fabric for this textile is the Antibacterial Water-Repellent Fabric - Tromso, a technical fabric made of 100% polyester with a weight of 160 gr/m2. It has a width of 150 cm and requires maximum care at 60ºC, avoiding bleach, with the possibility of dry cleaning, ironing at a warm temperature, and no tumble drying.
Cornell Red is the solid tone printed on the fabric, with a CMYK combination of 20 99 96 12. This color is associated with vitality, energy, and passion, making it a perfect color for fashion garments or accessories. Additionally, this shade can be combined with neutral tones like gray or black, and complementary tones like green or blue.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which gives it great image quality and finish. Furthermore, it has water-repellent and antibacterial properties, making it ideal for outdoor applications, such as making sun loungers or cushions.
Among the applications and uses of the base fabric, we can highlight its use in making fashion garments, accessories such as wallets or backpacks, and also as decorative fabric for paintings or frames. But additionally, thanks to its water-repellent properties, it can be used for making tablecloths for the dining room, and also for cushions for the living room or bedroom.
It is essential to consider the care of this fabric, avoiding the use of bleach and adhering to a maximum temperature of 60ºC. Likewise, it is recommended to iron at a warm temperature and not to use a tumble dryer for washing this fabric.
Finally, this fabric is manufactured using sublimation technology, which involves direct printing on the fabric, where the ink penetrates to achieve a high-quality and durable finish.
