The base fabric for this textile is the Antibacterial Water-Repellent Fabric - Tromso, a technical fabric made of 100% polyester, with a weight of 160 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed in this case is Sage Green, with Cyan (42), Magenta (28), Yellow (39), and Black (10) ink, giving a CMYK combination of 42, 28, 39, 10. This secondary color stands out for its elegance and symbolism, representing nature and calmness. It combines very well with other soft tones such as white, gray, pale pink, or beige.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with a solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but a printed one. The water-repellent finish makes it ideal for applications in fashion, accessories, decoration, outdoor, and textile/home, among others.
The base fabric has characteristics such as impermeability, water repellency, and antibacterial properties, making it ideal for home, fashion, and decoration applications, as it not only protects but also offers great durability. The printed color, on the other hand, stands out for its rough texture, which gives it a distinctive touch and makes it perfect for creating unique and original pieces.
The applications and uses of the fabric are wide-ranging, including fashion, accessories, decoration, outdoor, and textile/home. It can be used to create trousers, purses, toiletry bags, tablecloths, cushions, backpacks, and wallets, among other products. Its high resistance and durability make it ideal for daily use without losing quality or appearance.
Regarding care, this fabric can be washed at a maximum temperature of 60ºC, allows dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene, and can be ironed at a warm temperature. Bleaching is prohibited, and it should not be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This process consists of printing on sublimation paper and then transferring the image to the fabric using heat and pressure, which allows for a durable fixation of the design without losing quality or color intensity.
