The Antibacterial Water-Repellent Fabric - Tromso is a technical polyester fabric weighing 160 gr/m2 and 150 cm wide, with a water-repellent and antibacterial finish, making it perfect for use in fashion accessories, interior and exterior decoration, and textile home goods. The printed design features a simple complexity and is drawn with elements related to the pirate world, such as skulls and skeletons, in predominant shades of Night Black, Dark Purple, and Platinum Gray. To complement this design, solid colors in neutral tones such as white, gray, beige, or black could be used.
The single-sided digital textile print adds a unique and original touch to the Tromso fabric. Its characteristics, both in the base fabric and the design, allow its use in a wide variety of applications, including the manufacture of trousers for women and men, backpacks, purses, tablecloths, cushions, and even sun loungers for outdoor use. The rough texture of the fabric and the water-repellent and antibacterial finish make it especially suitable for decoration projects and accessories that need greater protection against water and humidity.
To maintain the qualities of the Tromso fabric, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 60 ºC, and avoid the use of trichloroethylene in dry cleaning. Ironing should be done at a warm temperature, and tumble drying is not recommended.
Tekno-Sublimation printing is the technology used to manufacture the Tromso fabric, and it consists of an ink transfer technique that converts an image into a permanent print by transferring it through special paper to the polyester fabric using heat and pressure. This process ensures a sharp and durable print on the fabric, without it losing its water-repellent and antibacterial properties.
