Recycled Lycra fabric is an elastic fabric composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. With a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150cm, this fabric has unique characteristics that make it ideal for various applications. This fabric is GRS certified, which guarantees its sustainable and recycled aspect. The printed design incorporated into the fabric has a decorative and vintage style and features a floral motif with artistic flowers. The main colors of this design are multicolored, which offers a great variety of plain color combinations that could fit perfectly.
This fabric, printed on one side using digital textile printing, has characteristics that make it chlorine resistant and offers very high UV protection of factor 50+, which makes it perfect for swimwear. In addition, its soft texture and elasticity make it a great option for sportswear and fashion garments.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric are the making of scrunchies, swimsuits and bikinis, as well as bathing suits. It is also an excellent option for designing fashion garments such as dresses and jumpsuits.
It is important to note that this fabric should not be bleached and its maximum washing temperature is 40ºC. It does not allow dry cleaning and should be ironed at a cold temperature. A tumble dryer cannot be used to dry this fabric.
Finally, it is important to mention the printing technology used in this fabric. Textile sublimation allows the ink to adhere permanently to the fabric, which guarantees high resistance and durability of the printed design. Thanks to this technology, it is possible to create complex and detailed designs with high image and color quality.
