The Velvety Corduroy Fabric - Dublin has a composition of 85% POLYESTER, 12% POLYAMIDE, and 3% ELASTANE. With a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a fabric width of 150 cm, it is ideal for upholstering chairs, sofas, and armchairs, as well as for making fashion garments such as trousers, jackets, and blazers. Additionally, it is soft to the touch and visually shiny. The printed design is abstract, with brushstrokes in a modern art style with a multitude of colors. This design combines perfectly with solid colors such as white, black, pink, fuchsia, and turquoise. It is worth noting that the fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, its softness is one of the most appreciated, as it offers great comfort. Furthermore, the brushstroke design gives an artistic and modern touch to any garment or decoration in which it is used. The applications and uses for this type of fabric are very wide, such as making overshirts, jackets, vests, bags, and backpacks. For decoration, cushions can be made for the bedroom, living room, or kitchen, as well as baskets and other decorative elements.
It is important to consider the care instructions for this fabric, such as not bleaching, not dry cleaning, ironing at a cool temperature, and not tumble drying. This information can also be found on the fabric label.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This method is very effective for obtaining sharp and precise designs with great durability, as the ink adheres directly to the fabric. Thus, high-quality prints are obtained that resist the passage of time and washing.
