The fabric in question is Transparent Georgette - Salamanca, a 28 gr/m2 georgette fabric with a 100% polyester composition and a thin, transparent texture and feel. The printed design applied to this fabric is in a modern and decorative art style, with a multicolor pattern inspired by artisanal painting. In symbolic terms, we can say that this design seeks to transmit a feeling of freedom and freshness, ideal for use in light and flowing garments. As for the printing technique, polyester sublimation is used, which allows the image to be transmitted vividly and clearly on one side of the fabric. This fabric combines perfectly with plain fabrics in pastel tones such as light pink, sky blue, or pale yellow.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric and design, we can say that it is a delicate and light fabric, ideal for feminine garments and lingerie. Its transparency allows playing with layering to create a romantic and bucolic effect in designs, while its polyester composition gives it exceptional resistance and durability. On the other hand, the design printed on the fabric is vibrant and colorful, ideal for summer garments. Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, in addition to those mentioned above, we can highlight its use in the creation of party dresses, blouses, swimsuits, and underwear. Its transparency can be explored by designers as a decorative element and in the creation of layered garments.
For the care of this fabric, it is important to note that it should not be bleached, it should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30°C, dry cleaning is allowed except for trichloroethylene, ironing at a cool temperature, and it cannot be tumble dried. In addition, it is recommended not to expose the fabric to direct sunlight and not to use abrasive products.
Finally, polyester sublimation printing technology allows the digital image to be transferred completely and permanently to the surface of the fabric. This process consists of transferring the ink from the paper through heat and pressure, which ensures complete fixation resistant to washing and wear.
