The Glasgow broadcloth fabric features a composition of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, giving it a soft texture and a weight of 380 gr/m2, ideal for use in making coats, jackets, and blazers, as well as for use as tablecloths at home. This fabric is printed with a tropical-style design, featuring a watermelon vector pattern that combines daisy pink, chili red, and cherry red colors. This design can be combined with solid colors such as black, white, and beige to further highlight the joy and colorfulness of the print.
In terms of its general characteristics, the Glasgow broadcloth fabric is resistant and durable, while the printed design highlights its softness and unique texture. This fabric can be used during the winter season, as well as for autumn 2021. Additionally, digital textile printing is used on only one side of the fabric.
The applications and uses of this fabric go beyond fashion and home decor, as it is also used in making altar cloths and coasters. Its maintenance should follow some recommendations such as not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, ironing at a warm temperature, and avoiding dry cleaning and tumble drying.
The Glasgow broadcloth fabric is printed with sublimation technology, which is used for printing on polyester fabrics. This printing process involves transferring dye-based ink from a special paper sheet to the fabric using high temperatures and pressure, achieving excellent quality and definition of the colors and details of the design.
