Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas features a tropical-style stamped design with a vector pattern that recreates the shape of watermelons. The main colors are daisy pink, pepper red, and cherry red. These colors can be combined with other plain tones such as white, black, or green.
The fabric has a weight of 260 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm, is made of 100% polyester, and has been certified as sustainable by the GRS. Its texture is rough and rigid, as well as visually opaque. On the other hand, the design is printed with sublimation technology on the polyester, with a single side by digital textile printing.
Among the applications and uses of the fabric, highlights include: decoration in frames, paintings, cushions, and baskets for living and dining rooms, placemats for the dining room, upholstery for furniture (sofas, chairs, and armchairs), as well as fashion accessories such as trousers, wallets, backpacks, hats, and tote bags.
For its care, bleaching should be avoided and washing should be done at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, in addition to allowing dry cleaning with solvents, ironing at a cool temperature, and tumble drying at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used for the production of this fabric is based on sublimation, a process in which colors are transferred from paper to polyester through heat and pressure, achieving high-quality and durable printing.
