The Pleated Crepe Georgette fabric - Bangkok is a polyester georgette fabric, with a weight of 90 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, perfect for summer garments such as lingerie, dresses, skirts, blouses, or accessories such as scarves and foulards. Its pleated finish and translucent texture give it an elegant and sophisticated air. The printed design, in a tropical style with a vector pattern of watermelons and colors such as daisy pink, chili red, and cherry red, gives the fabric a fun and fresh touch. In addition, this fabric can be combined with solid colors such as white, black, light green, or light blue.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only by digital textile printing, which means that the printing is done only on one side of the fabric. In terms of its general characteristics, the fabric is translucent and soft to the touch, while the printed design is vibrant and high quality.
Regarding applications and uses, apart from those already mentioned, this fabric is also perfect for swimwear such as sarongs. Its texture and finish make it ideal for elegant and sophisticated garments, but also for more casual garments with a touch of color and fun.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It can be dry cleaned except for trichloroethylene and should be ironed at a cool temperature. It cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of printing the image on special transfer paper and then transferring it to the fabric using heat and pressure. This technique guarantees sharp, durable, high-quality images.
