Polyester Lycra - Cairo is a stretchy, soft, chlorine-resistant fabric with very high UV protection 50+. This fabric, printed with an abstract multicolour spiral design, is ideal for sportswear, lingerie, swimwear and bikinis, as well as for womens and mens knitwear and tops. The design, with its bright and striking colours, can be perfectly combined with plain colours such as black, white or grey. This fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side by digital textile printing, which makes the print quality exceptional.
The Polyester Lycra - Cairo of 220 gr/m2 is characterised by its elastic and soft touch texture, which makes it very comfortable to wear. In addition, it is chlorine resistant, making it an ideal choice for swimwear. The abstract multicolour spiral print design is very striking and symbolic, as it gives a sense of movement and energy. The printed fabric can be used for a wide variety of applications and uses, from sportswear to lingerie and casual fashion.
The applications and uses of Polyester Lycra - Cairo are very wide. In addition to those already indicated, this fabric is also ideal for dancewear, yoga wear and leggings, as well as for underwear and bras/bralettes. Its elastic composition makes it perfect for a wide variety of sewing projects that require a stretchy and soft fabric.
It is important to note that this fabric requires special care. Hand or machine wash at 40ºC maximum and do not use bleach or tumble dryer. Ironing should be done at a low temperature and dry cleaning is allowed, except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which consists of using special inks that are heated and turn into gas to quickly penetrate the fibres of the fabric. This results in a high definition print with vibrant and durable colours. It is important to note that the fabric is printed on one side by digital textile printing and not on both sides.
