The base fabric is a Recycled Lycra weighing 190 gr/m2, composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, with a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The fabric features a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection 50+, ideal for making sportswear and swimwear. Additionally, it has GRS certification and is sustainable as it is made from recycled materials.
The printed design has a simple complexity and is inspired by nature, with plants and petals. The main colors are multicolored, allowing for endless combinations with other solid colors to create unique and elegant garments. The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side, with excellent print quality that highlights the beauty and details of the design.
Recycled Lycra is a soft and elastic fabric, making it ideal for garments that require movement and comfort. The printed design provides a modern and fresh home decoration, which also perfectly adapts to sportswear, swimwear, and fashion lines. Moreover, digital textile printing allows for exceptional resolution and quality, highlighting the detail and vibrancy of the design colors.
The applications and uses of the fabric are diverse, ranging from hair ties and scrunchies to bikinis and swimsuits, as well as fashion garments. The fabrics elasticity and chlorine-resistant finish make it ideal for water sports and swimming, while its softness makes it perfect for all body-hugging garments. In turn, the printed design adds a distinctive and modern touch to any garment made with it.
Regarding care, Recycled Lycra should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and ironed at a cool temperature; it cannot be dry cleaned or tumble dried. It is recommended not to bleach to maintain the quality of the fabric and the printed design.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a process by which ink is infused into the fabric through heat, achieving high quality and resolution in printing. This allows for precise designs with a wide variety of colors and details.
