The fabric we present to you is Glasgow cloth, a soft-textured fabric composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. This fabric is printed with a single-sided design using digital textile printing in a folkloric and decorative style, featuring stylized floral motifs and petals in dark carnation pink, cotton white, and light pink tones. This printed design could easily combine with other solid colors such as black, brown, and grey.
Regarding general characteristics, this fabric is ideal for making coats, trench coats, jackets, and vests for both women and men, as well as for blazers and jackets. Furthermore, it is perfect for producing coasters for the home, and in the kitchen, it can be used for making dishcloths. Likewise, it is an ideal option for producing fabrics intended for altars, thanks to its opacity and resistance.
On the other hand, it is important to highlight the care instructions for this fabric, which include not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, not dry cleaning, ironing at a warm temperature, and avoiding tumble drying. These care instructions will help maintain the quality and color of the fabric and extend its useful life.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation on polyester, which allows for high precision in image reproduction and durable color fixation on the fabric. This technology is carried out through a heat transfer process that guarantees the fidelity of the printed design on the fabric.
