Recycled Lycra fabric is a lycra-type fabric composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, with a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its print features a combination of brushstrokes and stains in predominant white, sky blue, and plum purple tones, with a modern pictorial style. This design could combine perfectly with solid colors such as black, gray, and navy blue. The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only.
This fabric is distinguished by its softness and elasticity, as well as being chlorine-resistant and having a very high UV protection factor of 50+. These characteristics provide comfort, softness, and protection to garments made with it. Recycled Lycra can be used for various purposes, including making scrunchies, sports and fashion swimsuits and bikinis, especially swimsuits with printed details.
It is important to note that the fabric requires certain care, such as washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, not bleaching, not dry cleaning, ironing at a low temperature, and not tumble drying.
Sublimation printing technology (polyester) is used for the manufacture of this fabric, which means that the ink is impregnated into the fiber and not on the surface of the fabric, achieving an image that is more resistant to washing and rubbing. This type of printing allows brighter colors and greater definition of details in the design.
