The fabric in question is the Cotton-Touch Jersey Knit - Atenas, a knit fabric with a composition of 81% polyester, 15% acrylic, and 4% elastane. With a weight of 239 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is soft to the touch and elastic. The printed design combines elements of modern art and painting with a distorted style in multi-colors. It could be combined with solid colors such as black, dark green, and off-white. It should be noted that the fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only.
The general characteristics of the base fabric include its softness and elasticity, making it ideal for making knit garments such as jerseys, tops, dresses, and cardigans. It can also be used in the manufacture of accessories such as scarves, shawls, and socks. In the home, it can be used for making blankets and napkins. This fabric is especially suitable for use in winter and autumn/winter 2021.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is important not to bleach it and to wash it at maximum temperatures of 30°C. Dry cleaning is allowed except for the use of trichloroethylene, and it is recommended to iron at a cool temperature. It is important to note that it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation, which allows for designs with great durability and resolution. This is because the ink turns into gas and penetrates directly into the fabric fibers, resulting in vibrant and detailed prints.
