The Polyester Lycra fabric, Cairo, is a textile with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. With a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane, it is an elastic and soft-to-the-touch fabric, making it ideal for sportswear, lingerie, and fashion items such as tops and bikinis. This fabric is printed with a single-sided design, featuring standard complexity and a botanical and photographic style, with plant and leaf motifs in multi-colors.
The printed design on this Lycra fabric is impressive in every way. Its vibrant colors and the combination of leaves and plants in multi-color tones make any garment stand out from the rest. This botanical print fabric doesnt need too many embellishments to stand out, and best of all, it pairs perfectly with solid tones like black and white.
From a technical standpoint, the fabric is elastic and soft to the touch, with chlorine-resistant finishes and even Very High UV protection 50+. This makes the Cairo Lycra fabric ideal for swimwear and sportswear that withstand extreme conditions.
This Cairo Lycra fabric is designed for various applications and uses, such as the manufacture of swimsuits and bikinis, sportswear, womens lingerie, plus-size clothing, outerwear, and childrens clothing. These applications stem from the fabrics elastic, durable, and resistant properties, making it ideal for resisting snagging and tearing.
The fabric should be cared for correctly, avoiding bleaching and ironing at maximum temperatures of 40°C. It allows dry cleaning with trichloroethylene and cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used on this fabric is digital textile sublimation printing on polyester. This involves transferring high-definition ink from printed paper to the Lycra fabric, allowing the design to adhere to the fabric permanently and with photographic quality. This way, a fabric with a complete and detailed design, high quality, and a long lifespan is produced.
