The Velvety Corduroy Fabric - Dublin is a corduroy fabric with a composition of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its name already suggests its soft and velvety texture to the touch which, together with its bright visual, gives it great elegance. The printed design features a vector pattern of a celestial nature, with a background of multi-colored clouds in a simple style but with an artistic touch. The predominant tones in the design are pastel colors, in shades of blue, pink, yellow, and green, which allows it to be combined with a wide variety of solid colors.
This fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side using textile digital printing, meaning it has no design on its back and its texture will remain unaltered. The characteristics of the fabric, in addition to its softness and shine, include its resistance and durability, which makes it ideal for furniture upholstery, decoration, and garment making.
The Velvety Corduroy Fabric - Dublin is very versatile, as it can be used to decorate any space in the house, from cushions for the living room to baskets for storing things in the bedroom. As for its use in fashion, we can highlight its application in trousers, jackets, blazers, and bomber jackets, among other garments, as well as in accessories such as handbags and backpacks.
To keep this fabric in good condition, it is important to take into account its care instructions, which include not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, not dry cleaning (except with trichloroethylene), and ironing at a cool temperature. Furthermore, it cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows the ink pigments to penetrate directly into the fibers of the fabric, offering high quality and great resistance to washing and wear.
