The Crepe Knit Stretch Fabric - Riga features a grainy, elastic texture that is very pleasant to the touch. Its composition of 94% polyester and 6% elastane provides great flexibility and adaptability to the body, making it an excellent choice for fashion garments such as dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, skirts, trousers, cardigans, and knitwear. Additionally, it is wrinkle-resistant and easy to care for.
The printed design on this fabric is very simple, with the image of clouds in the sky reminiscent of a summer day. The design is very simple and showcases the beauty of nature in a minimalist way, making it an ideal combination with this fabric, as it does not add unnecessary complexity to the ensemble. Furthermore, the main colors are multicolor, allowing for multiple combinations with other plain colors.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only using digital textile printing, which means the image only appears on one side of the fabric and not on the reverse.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric and its printed design, we can highlight its elasticity, softness to the touch, grainy texture, and ability to remain wrinkle-free. We must also consider the simplicity and elegance of the design, which perfectly complements the fabrics simplicity.
As for the applications and uses of the fabric, as mentioned earlier, it is very versatile and can be used to make fashion garments for both women and men. It is an excellent choice for body-hugging garments, as its elasticity provides a perfect fit.
Regarding care, it is important to follow the manufacturers instructions. Do not bleach, and the maximum washing temperature is 40ºC. It is suitable for dry cleaning, with the exception of trichloroethylene. It is recommended to iron at a cool temperature and can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which involves transferring the design from transfer paper to the fabric using heat and pressure, guaranteeing a sharp and durable print without the fabric losing its elasticity or softness.
