The base fabric is the Riga Elastic Knit Crepe, an elastic fabric with a composition of 94% Polyester and 6% Elastane, weighing 180 gr/m2 and with a width of 150 cm. This fabric has a granular texture and a soft, elastic feel that makes it perfect for garments that require movement such as dresses, jumpsuits, skirts, trousers, cardigans, among others. The printed design is a geometric and botanical vector pattern with artistic multi-tonal flowers. This design can be combined with other plain colors such as black, white, pale pink and mint green.
The fabric is printed using single-sided digital textile printing, which means that only one side of the fabric has the printed design. The fabric and design have elastic and soft-to-the-touch characteristics.
In addition to the applications and uses mentioned previously, this fabric is ideal for sportswear, swimwear and lingerie garments.
It is important to note that this fabric must be cared for following specific instructions: it should not be bleached and should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It accepts dry cleaning, but not with trichloroethylene. Ironing should be at a cool temperature and the fabric can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation on polyester, which means that the ink fuses with the fabric to create a durable and resistant finish. This method allows vibrant and precise designs to be printed, regardless of the complexity of the pattern.
