Recycled Lycra is a soft, stretchy fabric with a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a composition of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. This fabric features a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection 50+, making it ideal for sportswear and swimwear.
The printed design has a simple complexity with a photographic style depicting popcorn. The main colors of the design are multicolored, making it easy to combine with solid tones such as green, fuchsia, or blue. It is important to note that the fabric is digitally printed on one side.
The characteristics of the fabric and the printed design combine a soft, elastic texture with high chlorine resistance. These features make it an ideal fabric for sportswear and swimwear.
Regarding applications and uses, in addition to those previously mentioned - hair ties, scrunchies, bikinis, and swimsuits - this fabric can also be used to make exercise clothes such as leggings or tops.
To maintain the quality and durability of the fabric, it is important to consider its care instructions. It is recommended to wash it at a maximum of 40ºC and not to use bleach, dry cleaning, or tumble drying. It should be ironed at a cool temperature.
The fabric is printed using sublimation technology (polyester) which allows for optimal color fixation on the fabric. This printing process uses heat to convert the ink into vapor, which is absorbed by the fabric fibers. Sublimation technology is known for its durability and color fastness to use and washing.
