The Velvety Corduroy fabric - Dublin has a composition of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280gr/m2. Its texture is soft to the touch, resulting in a comfortable fabric for upholstery or garment making, while its visual finish is shiny. The printed design is Botanical, with a pattern of plants and leaves of standard complexity, with a predominance of multicolored colors. The fabric is printed on one side using digital textile printing. The combination of plain colors that could match this design could include shades found in the pattern, such as neutrals (white, cream) and greenish or bluish colors. This fabric is suitable for applications in decoration, upholstery, making garments, and accessories. However, it is also appropriate for making cushions and baskets for the living room and bedroom, as well as for outdoor decoration.
Regarding care, this fabric is suitable for washing at maximum temperatures of 30ºC, avoiding the use of bleach and tumble drying. In addition, it should be ironed at a cool temperature and can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows the transfer of the design to the fabric through heat and pressure. This results in a vibrant, sharp, and long-lasting finish with excellent image quality.
