The fabric in question is the Elastic Knit Crepe - Riga, with a printed design that combines the NATURE of stone with the TEXTURE of rock, in a multicolor that evokes the diverse tones of natural rock. This design can be combined with plain fabrics in earthy or gray tones to enhance the colors of the print.
The fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, a quick and efficient technique for printing complex and detailed designs. The fabric itself is elastic, textured, and has a good feel to the touch, making it perfect for snug yet comfortable garments.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, it is ideal for fashion garments for both women and men, such as dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, skirts, pants, cardigans, and knitwear. Its season is timeless, making it a versatile option for any time of the year.
Various care instructions should be followed for this fabric. It should not be bleached, and it should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Although dry cleaning is allowed, the use of trichloroethylene should be avoided. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature, and it can be tumble-dried at a reduced temperature.
Regarding printing technology, sublimation is a process performed at high temperature and pressure where colors are transferred through a gaseous state to the fabric fibers. This allows for durable designs that do not fade with use or washing, maintaining the quality of the fabric intact.
