Polyester Lycra - Nairobi is a heavy-weight fabric (270 gr/m2) with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. This elastic fabric features a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection (50+). Its printed design showcases a rock texture and nature inspired by multicolored stones. The fabric is digitally printed on one side and combines dark and earthy colors such as brown, green, and gray.
This fabric is ideal for making sportswear and swimwear due to its high elasticity and chlorine resistance. Its most common application is in the production of bikinis, swimsuits, leotards, and leggings. It can also be used for making underwear and bodysuits.
It is important to note that Polyester Lycra - Nairobi requires special care. It is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not bleach, do not tumble dry, and iron at a cool temperature. In addition, it can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used on this fabric is polyester sublimation, which allows for maximum quality in design reproduction and great washing resistance. This printing process is done by heat, which permanently fixes the pigments to the fabric without affecting its elastic properties and soft feel.
